Joliet Drama Guild
Over 80 years running, the Joliet Drama Guild is the second oldest community theater group in Illinois! Today they continue to bring together quality, local talent and entertainment to residents of Joliet, Will County, and surrounding areas. Located at the lovely Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park Theatre on the edge of historic downtown Joliet, we provide quality live entertainment at a low price. We have actors and audience members that are on the second, and in some cases, third generation of involvement with our guild.
Latitude 41 was founded on the belief that Joliet-area audiences are eager for more quality community theater. Latitude 41 believes that community theater should be an artistically-enriching and enjoyable experience for the audience, the players, and the crew.
The founding members of Latitude 41 consist of the people responsible for directing and producing such well-received shows as: THE PILLOWMAN, APARTMENT 3A, SYLVIA, TRANSYLVANIA GENERAL, THE ODD COUPLE, THE LION IN WINTER, OF MICE AND MEN and CLYBOURNE PARK. In-cooperation with the Park, Latitude 41 produced the musicals OKLAHOMA, NUNSET BOULEVARD and THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW MUSICAL.
