Fun footnote: this slumbering gnome came from the personal collection of Georgiann Goodson, the Park’s first manager. She, along with Park President Billie Limacher, created our “Festival of the Gnomes” in 1977. Georgiann directed the show for decades while she managed the Park. Now, Lori Carmine carries on the tradition of managing and directing the beloved festival. Thank you, Georgiann & Billie, for your vision so many years ago. ♥ ♥
