Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park and Theatre (201 West Jefferson Street, Joliet) is looking forward to presenting “Concerts on the Hill” in 2020, but will have to wait a bit longer. Following safety guidelines from the CDC, State of Illinois and City of Joliet, they are cancelling the concerts scheduled for June 4, 11, 18 and 25. They are hoping to present the Thursday concerts for July and August, but will continually put the safety of the audience, performers and staff first. They will continue to monitor all the new information provided by the scientists and medical personnel as it becomes available.
The Park is still open for walks, small picnics, fishing and Pokemon Go. All we ask that you practice safe social distancing. Wear a face mask if you cannot remain 6 feet apart. Limit your outings to a few people, and wash your hands or sanitize. Let’s keep everyone safe. We love to see everyone enjoying the park, so please keep yourselves safe and healthy.
