High school students and adults are invited to submit original work for
Joliet’s first film fest on April 29. This first year’s theme is: “Focus On Film.”
The following categories are:
• animation
• comedy
• documentary
• drama
• music
• phone
Cell phone submissions must be under 10 minutes, all others under 20 minutes.
REGISTRATION DEADLINES & FEES:
• High School March 29, 2018 $10
• Adult March 29, 2018 $25
• Adult Early Bird March 1, 2018 $20
• Adult & HS Late March 30-April 16 $30
Selected films will be shown in the park’s indoor theatre, featuring a new sound system and new larger indoor screen. The J-Town Film Fest will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2:00-4:00 pm. “Seeing the world through another’s eyes enlightens us all, it’s more than entertainment,” remarks Park Manager Lori Carmine.
