Open to all levels of interest for ages 5 through 18! Explore creative dramatics through singing, dancing, script and theatre terminology learning, costuming, makeup and prop designing. All aspects come together over the four weeks to present a musical for public performance (last 2 days).

*Those age 11 may choose this younger group or the teen group (meets for 4 hours and more in-depth).
Ages 11-18**
9:00 am to 2:00 pm

**Teens may choose the TECH CAMP (instead of the DRAMA CAMP).
Both camps meet at the same time and cost the same.
DRAMA CAMP will be on stage learning the script and music for the performance.
TECH CAMP will NOT be on stage learning the script and music for the performance.
TECH CAMP will work behind the scenes, learning set, lighting and sound design.Β They will be behind the scenes for the performances, keeping the show moving – just as important as the actors! TECH CAMP is limited to about 5. When registering, please check for availability.
MUSICAL 2024 π
“ONCE UPON A MATTRESS”
In this hilarious tweaking of the fairy tale, “The Princess and the Pea”, Queen Aggravain has ruled that none may marry until her son, Prince Dauntless marries. However, she has managed to sabotage every princess that come along . . . until Princess Winnifred.Β The musical was made famous by Carol Burnett.
MEETS 4 WEEKS
Starts the Monday after Father’s Day.
WEEK 1: M 6/17 through Th 6/20 (Tu 6/18 – audition for parts)
WEEK 2: M 6/24 through F 6/28
WEEK 3: M 7/1 through W 7/3 (off Th 7/4 & F 7/5)
WEEK 4: M 7/8 through Su 7/14 (performance Sa & Su)
ADULTS 1ST DAY, JUNE 17 @ 1:45 PM
Please attend the last 15 minutes of camp in the theatre to receive important information.

WEAR π
Comfortable clothing allowing for movement. Wear sturdy shoes. NO FLIP-FLOPS.
TECH CAMP teens should bring paint clothes on painting days.

TEENS (9 am – 2 pm) should bring a sack lunch. We have fridge and microwave available.
